Darrell Sonny Brewer, 70, of Fritch, died January 15, 2012 in Borger.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Viewing for Sonny will be wed. from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at our Fritch location, and Thursday morning prior to the service at our Borger location.

Darrell Sonny Brewer was born June 23, 1941 in Wellington, to Robert and Sybil Brewer. He was a truck driver over 50 years, and was in the United States Navy. Sonny married Glenda Baldwin July 18, 1972 in Clinton, Oklahoma, and loved to play slot machines, camp, bowl, and bingo.

Survivors include his wife Glenda, daughters Rosie Wohlford and husband Ed of Avinger, Ginger Kesterson of Winfield, Dara and Denise, both of Moore, Oklahoma brothers Veril Brewer and wife Veronica of Lawton, Oklahoma, Boyd Brewer and wife Betty, and Billy Brewer, both of Alama, Arkansas, Robert Brewer of Oklahoma City, Bobby Brewer and wife Rose of Pampa sisters Linda Martin and husband Shelton of Fritch, Edna Fraum and husband Freddie of Sydney, Nebraska, Patricia Campbell and husband Johnny grandchildren Samantha, Natasha, and Darrell Wohlford, Jon Terry, Jessica and James Miranda, Anthony and Larry Washington, Dakota Brewer, and five great grandchildren.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Melissa Bradford, four brothers, and a sister.
