Steve Phillips, 54, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 in Amarillo.BRBRMemorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jerry Lane, Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Phillips was born on October 27, 1954 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He has lived in Pampa for twenty-eight years, moving there from Borger. He married Kathryn Renick on March 5, 1977 in Borger. He had been a truck driver for W. O. Operating for seventeen years. He was a fly fisherman and also was a hunter. BRBRHe was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sandye Phillips, and sister, Kathryne Carr.BRBRHe is survived by his wife Kathryn Phillips of the home, brother - Joe Phillips of Borger, and sister - Ranell Lester of Cleveland, OK.
