Susan Elaine Doughten, 48, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church. Burial: Westlawn Memorial Park. Rosary: 7 p.m. Friday at St. Johns Catholic Church under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Memorials: Friends may honor her memory with a gift to BSA Hospice P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79105 or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Susan was born February 10, 1959 in Amarillo, to Oliver and Mary Lou Earnest. Susan was employed as a teachers aid which allowed her to spend her days doing what she loved, being with people. She married Casey Doughten June 12, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her father, Oliver. Survivors: husband, Casey of Stinnett; children, Julie Lucero and her husband, Dominic of Fritch, Rachel Salinas and her husband, Joe of Lubbock, Ryan Hand of Stinnett; grandchildren, Anzlie Grace Lucero and arriving soon Jaxson Ryan Lucero of Fritch; mother, Mary Lou Earnest of Fritch; sisters, Margaret Ynacay and her husband, Richard, of Katy, Janet Morrison and her husband, Jimmy of Fritch; and nieces and nephews, Michael Morrison, April Curnutt, Terrie Ynacay, and Courtney Ynacay, also including 12 Doughten nieces and nephews.
