Susie Phillips

Susie Mildred Purdy Phillips, 89, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014.

Graveside services will be held 3 pm Saturday in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Susie was born in Cherokee County, Texas to Floyd and Evie Purdy. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents husband, George Phillips and four sisters, Lelamae Stokes,
Elizabeth Shultz, Gertie Wheeler and Mattie Dudley.

Survivors include son, Gerald Purdy and his wife, Kathy of Amarillo grandchildren, Kristie Kinter and her husband, Jim of Bushland, Gerald Purdy, II of Amarillo five great grandchildren, Ethan Purdy, Josh Kinter, Benjamin Kinter, Sarah Kinter and Samuel Kinter.
