Tad Lozier

Tad Lozier, 62, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021.

Graveside services will be held 11 am Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Westlawn Memorial Park.  A celebration of his life will be held 2 pm at Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey and Bro. Bob Miller officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.   In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to Celebration Family Church, PO Box 1210, Fritch, Texas 79036.

Tad was born October 12, 1958 in Rawlins, Wyoming to William Lozier and Wilma Olson Lozier.  He made his way to Texas to rodeo at Frank Phillips College.  While here in Texas he met and married the love of his life, Mary Lou Simmons, on December 12, 1986 in Memphis, Texas.  Tad was an active member of Celebration Family Church.  He was also a member of Billy Dixon Lodge #1369.   Tad was a talented welder and enjoyed fly fishing, working on rat rod trucks and spending time with his boys.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Lozier.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Lozier of Fritch; sons, Will Lozier and wife Jacqlyn of Fritch; Clay Lozier and wife Kelsee of Claude; mother, Wilma Lozier of Thermopolis, Wyoming; grandchildren, Kord, Kimber and Cadyn; brothers, Brad Lozier and wife Teresa of Lander, Wyoming, Russ Lozier and wife Sue of Rock Springs, Wyoming; brother-in-law, Mark Simmons and wife, Betty of Ellicott, Colorado; nephews, Micah, Jordan, Tyler, Dustin and Brandon; and a host of extended family.
