Tara Griffin

Tara Dawn Griffin, 36, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Grace Church with Rev. Andy Dietz officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to Layson and Landon's college funds at Amarillo National Bank in the name of Pam Griffin for the benefit of Layson Griffin.

Tara was born November 25, 1980 in Borger to Gayla Faye Wiley and Ricky Lynn Griffin. She graduated from Borger High School in 1999 and received her LVN from Frank Phillips College. Tara had a big heart and loved people. She loved her kids more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gayla Wiley Pyron.

Survivors include her sons, Layson and Landon Griffin; father, Ricky Griffin and wife Pam of Amarillo; brother, Casey Griffin and Joshua Bailey of Amarillo; sisters, Marcy Hallden and husband Craig of Cochrane, Alberta, Christi Watson and husband Paul of Beaverton, Oregon, Erin Hill and husband Brad of Borger.
