Tech Hill

Tech Sargent Jimmie Hill, of Fritch, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. No services have been set at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Jimmie was born August 12, 1936 in Sayre, OK to Sam and Georgia (Brady) Hill. He married Shirley Lawson on April 14, 2009 in Borger. He was a self-employed horseshoer after retiring from the United States Airforce, serving for 20 years. Jimmie served in Vietnam during his service and has been around the world six times. He has a signed picture given to him by the Thunderbirds. Col. Brown wrote a letter saying that he was an exemplary soldier and was extremely knowledgeable about his planes and they felt safe flying the planes that he has serviced. Jimmie loved to feed the deer and birds and loved working in the yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Albert Hill of North Carolina, and Jimmie Michael Hill of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Susan Palmnitier of Kentwood. LA, Bambi Lynn Hill and their children, Roxanna Hill and their children and Denise Lynn Hill all of Truth of Consequences, NM. He has three grandchildren, Jordie Cheek, Zack Hill, and Karlie Hill and two great-grandchildren, Kassidy and Kaeland.
