Thelma Hawkins, 102, died Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Plano, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 26th, at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Hawkins was born on June 17, 1906 in Dora, Miissouri and had been a Borger resident for 79 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hawkins, son - Bob Hawkins, two sisters Muriel Greer and Fern Ford and one brother - Samuel Bennett.BRBRShe is survived by one son - Bill Hawkins of Houston, daughter-in-law - Barbara Hawkins of Plano, sister - Armel Anderson of Borger, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and many many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Casket bearers will be Gary Hawkins, Hunter Hawkins, Samuel Hawkins, Greg Terrell, Tommy Joe Sanders and Gary Hewitt.BR
