Theodore Dodd

Theodore Edwin Dodd, 91 of Amarillo, formerly of Borger, died Thursday June 2nd in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 7th at Wesley United Methodist Church with Pastor Donald Ward officiating. Burial will be at Lieb Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Theodore was born June 11, 1924 in Aline, Oklahoma to Howard Edwin Dodd and Thedora Brownfield. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a Yard Master for Santa Fe Railroad. He loved to hike and hunt raccoon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, infant daughter and a grandson.

Theodore is survived by his sons, Hank Dodd and wife, Joy of Patton, CO, Larry Dodd and wife, Loretta of Edmond, OK, Carl Dodd and wife, Jenny of Los Lunas, NM, Willie Dodd and wife, Christine of Carrollton, TX; daughter, LeAnna Theel and husband, David of Borger; brother, Mike Turner; 15 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Boy Scouts of America.
