Thomas Dennis

Thomas Ray Dennis, 70, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at his home in Carson County. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at 1st Baptist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Josh Light Pastor officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. Mr. Dennis will be viewed from Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until Thursday 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Tom was a farmer and rancher in Carson County for 35 years and then became a crop insurance adjuster. He married Sharon Reynolds June 24, 1961 in Amarillo. He was a member of the Carson Masonic Lodge 1167 and was a master mason he loved to work in his yard. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Panhandle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 Brothers B. H., Jerry, Don and Kenneth and his brother in law Ronnie Reynolds.

Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon, 2 Daughters Rhonda Gardiner of Panhandle and Deborah Dennis of Freeville, NY, 2 Sisters Winona Caskey of Cushing, OK and Reba Kay Reining of Panhandle, 3 Brothers Bruce Dennis of Hollis, OK, Chess Dennis of Amarillo and Charles Dennis of Amarillo, 2 Grandsons Thomas Gardiner and Travis Gardiner and 3 Great Grandchildren Allie Gardiner, Izzy Gardiner and Ethan Gardiner.

Casket bearers will be Thomas Gardiner, Travis Gardiner, Randy Caskey, Rusty Howes, Farris Dennis and Kevin Powers.
