Thurman O. Hunt, 96, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be 1:00 pm. Tuesday, November 7, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Riley, Pastor officiating. Intement will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Hunt was born Sept. 9, 1910 in China Creek, Tx., and had been a resident of Borger since 1947. He was an electrician in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and a member of Central Baptist Church where he had been head usher for 38 years. Mr. Hunt was owner operator of Borger Upholstery, and retired school bus driver for the Borger Independent School District.
Survivors include one son, Thurman Hunt, Jr. of Leesburg, Florida and one daughter, Barbara Nadeay of Lawton, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
The family will be staying at 410 Jackson St. in Borger, Texas.
