Tony Riddle

Tony M. Riddle, 69, died suddenly in Borger on Monday morning. Services will be 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ at Borger with Zeb Sailors, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Tony was born in McLean, Texas to Durwood and Oleta Riddle on May 23, 1937. He moved to Borger after graduation from high school where he lived for 50 years. He attended West Texas State University and graduated from Frank Phillips College in Borger. Tony worked for the Department of Transportation for 17 years and then went to work for Phillips Petroleum Co. as an operator. He retired from Phillips and had been working part time at Walmart at the time of his death. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge.

Tony married the former Sherlene Thomas

Tony is survived by his wife, Sherlene, his mother Oleta Riddle of Albuquerque, NM, 3 Sons, Mike and Amanda Riddle of White Deer, Gary Don and Kim Riddle of Jonesboro, AR and Danny and Beth Riddle also of Jonesboro, AR, one sister, Gwen George of Albuquerque, NM, five Grandchildren and 1 Great-Granddaughter.

Casket Bearers will be G. W. Lermon, Alton Carpenter, Roy Talley, Van Owens, Howard Davis and Jack Cowan.
