Travis Luttrell

Travis Gene Luttrell, 82 of Armstrong County passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Claude, Texas. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Claude Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Travis was born February 27, 1940 in Armstrong County, Texas on the family farm. He married Dana Kelley on June 29, 1957, in Amarillo. Travis was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church in Amarillo. He worked for the Texas Highway Department as a Superintendent and also farmed. Travis loved motorcycles, racing cars, bowling, golf and flying model airplanes.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Jeff; grandson Dillon; two brothers and five sisters.

Surviving is his loving wife Dana; daughter, April Beverly and husband, Allen of Norman, Oklahoma; son, Johnny of Claude; sister, Audene Beck of Spearman; grandchildren, Kandice Tessneer, December Luttrell and Amanda Sindelar; great-grandchildren, Drake, Alexander, Aisley, Novalee and Isaac.
