Travis Tillman

Travis Wayne Tillman, 71, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Willie Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Travis was born March 18, 1944 in Brownwood, Texas. He married the love of his life, Diane Bouldin, on June 30, 1964 in Borger. Travis was a member of Eternal Light Church. He worked as a machinist for Disco for 29 years. Travis enjoyed fishing and hunting, but nothing brought more joy to his life than spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Aleta Gattis Gazzola; and a daughter, Sherry Tillman.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Diane of Borger; daughters, Karen McEvers and husband David of Amarillo, Jenny Marquez and husband Michael of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren, Sara, Ashley, Kyle, Alyssa, Austin, Abby, Kaitlyn and Brooklyn.
