Vera Thomas

Vera Kathleen Moffitt Thomas was born on March 1, 1929 in Durant Oklahoma.
She went to be with her Lord on August 4, 2016 in Robinson, Texas surrounded by her family and friends.

She married Ray Randolph Thomas on November 5, 1949 in Borger Texas.

Her faith in the Lord was an inspiration to her family and everyone she met.
Vera's heart was always full of love and laughter and her home was always open to anyone in need of guidance, friendship, a meal or a place to stay.
She touched many lives with her giving spirit.

She loved to do crafts, painting ceramics, coloring and working puzzles. She loved the outdoors and bird watching. And she loved her little cat buddy Toby.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Ray Randolph Thomas, Parents, Huell and Florence Moffitt, Sisters, Betty Ray Moffitt, Esther Porter, Imogene Swafford and Jewell Fay Holt. Brothers, Billy Moffitt and Huell Ray Moffitt, and Granddaughter Janice O'Bryant.

She is survived by a Sister, Vivian Richardson of Hugo OK, and a Brother Roy Lee Loyd and wife Miranda of Hartsville, SC., Children, Freddie Thomas and wife Lori of Borger, TX, Sharon O'Bryant and husband Dennis of Borger, TX, Larry Thomas and wife Michelle of Hershey, NE, Yvonne Keener and husband Don of Borger, TX, Donna Zink and husband Kenny of Robinson, TX and Charmaine Walters and husband Tim of Borger, TX
Grandchildren, Sandra Salim and husband Daniel, Brandi Zink, Jeremy Thomas, Justin Foster, Bo Zink, Leslie Keener, Brenda Zink Young and husband Tony, Jennifer O'Bryant, Jessica Barnett, Brigette Zink Glatter and husband Matt, Daniel Thomas and wife Tiffany and Andrew O'Bryant, Twenty six Great Grandchildren and many, many friends.

Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, August 10th at 11 am.
Minton Memorial Chapel, 314 S. Hedgecoke, Borger, Texas.
Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park, 8745 Hwy 136, Borger, Texas.

Family visitation will be Tuesday, August 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Minton Memorial Chapel, 314 S. Hedgecoke, Borger, Texas.
