Vi Krapp

Vi Krapp, 74, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Celebration Family Church in Fritch with Pastor Dwight Kirksey and Dan Shipley, Pastor of Saddle Mountain Cowboy Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or to Memorial Hospice in Dumas.

Vi was born September 16, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa to Bennie M. Burns and Florence Nash Burns. She was a hard working woman who had a huge heart. Vi was a foul mouthed, opinionated, stubborn, yet beautiful soul.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Earl Krapp; and brother, Bob Burns and his wife Karen.

Survivors include her son, Mike Cyphers and wife Cheryl of Durango, Colorado; daughters, Penny Loudder and husband Brent of Channing, Button Frizzell and husband Russell of Corpus Christi, Kassy Jones and husband Devin of San Antonio, Jess "Ja-Ja" Krapp of Sanford; step-son, Woody Lee of Borger; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; brothers, Allen Burns and wife Cindy of Sioux City, Iowa, Don Burns and wife Karen of Fremont, Nebraska; sister, Jane Fricke of Buckeye, Arizona; and a host of extended family.
