Vina Payne

Vina Payne, 62, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at her home in Canute, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Associate Pastor Tim Hall of Grace Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Stinnett cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Vina was born July 17, 1949 in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Dudge and Dovie Blackwell, and was a homemaker. She loved fishing, camping, garage sales, and cruises. On February 6, 1965 she married Lloyd Payne in Higgins, Texas. Vina had spent most of life in Borger, until they moved to Canute, Oklahoma four months ago.

Survivors include her husband Lloyd of the home, 2 sons Roy Payne of Pampa, and Steven Payne of Borger a brother, Danny Blackwell of Borger 2 sisters Melba Kelley of Borger, Jean Northrup of Woodward, Oklahoma 3 granddaughters Trinette Jones of Borger, Kassi Nail of Borger, Melody Scott of Borger a grandson, Randy Payne of Borger, and 7 great grandchildren.

Vina is preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Randy Keith Payne, August, 1994.
The Blackwell family will be at 1313 Yows, and the Payne family will be at 2105 Hemlock.
