Vineta Alice Locke

Vineta Locke, 93, of Borger passed away Monday, July 25th at Borger Health Care Center.

Graveside Services were held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. Her son Donald Locke officiated.

Vineta was born June 23, 1918 at Plainview, Texas to Osie and Addie Deisher. Vineta was a homemaker living in the Borger area since the early 1940s, coming to Borger from Plainview. Vineta was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Wayne, September 28, 1983, her parents, and 3 brothers.

Vineta is survived by a son, Donald Locke and wife Sue of Lawrenceburg Indiana,a daughter, Waynita Briscoe of Borger, Texas 5 Grandchildren, 11 GreatGrandchildren, and 6 GreatGreat Grandchildren.
