Virgil Hynes

Virgil Hynes, 75 of Borger passed away Monday October 10th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday October 13th at Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Virgil was born June 2, 1936 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arvil and Nola Hilton Hynes. He drove a truck for Leeway Trucking for twenty six years. He married Lela Howard April 7, 1955 at Borger. Virgil loved his family, cars and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Derril Hynes.

Virgil is survived by his wife Lela. Sons Derril and wife Debbie of Borger, Bobby and wife Angela of Conroe, Texas, Kevin and wife Shelly of New Braunfels, Texas. Sisters Olene Ferguson of Dumas, Arkansas, Beverly Myers and June Hicks both of Borger, Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
