Virginia Lane

Virginia Muriel Lane, 98 of Borger died Saturday March 29, 2014 in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 1, 2014 at Fairlanes Baptist Church with rev. Paul Burwash, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Muriel was born July 19, 1915 in Hardy, Arkansas to Richard and Minnie Mae Moore Rogers. She came to Borger in 1937 after marrying Ralph Slim Lane on October 24, 1935 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2006, daughter Sally Schmidt 2010 and Sisters Inez Kennedy and Clara Edwards.

She is survived by daughters Deanna Baker and husband Bill of Borger, Nancy Lane of Amarillo, TX. Two grandchildren April Brown and Austin Brown.
