Virginia Maxine Tipton Vassaur, 73, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Spearman, Texas.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Cemetery with Pastor Bob Fletcher Minister of the First Assembly of God Church in Spearman. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Vassaur was born on June 26, 1934 in Borger and had moved back to Borger seven years ago. She was a retired security guard and was a Baptist. She married Jerry Vassaur in 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Jewel Tipton, husband, Jerry Vassaur, sister, Betty Ruth and brother, J.C. Tipton.BRBRShe is survived by five sons - Terry Sullivan and Jamie Dale Sullivan both of Borger, Daryll W. Holland of Quinlan, Tx, John Carl Holland of Sallisaw, OK., Dennis Ray Sullivan of Keichi, KS, daughter - Sherry Lyn King of Austin, Tx., eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.BRBRThe family will be staying at 309 Jennie Lane in Borger.
