W. Charlene Price

W. Charlene Price, 71, of Borger passed away December 26, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a visitation on Friday December 29, 2023, at the funeral home in Borger from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Charlene was born August 19, 1952, in Borger to Charley and Wanda (Fields) Mitchell. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. She married Dennis Olen Price on September 18, 1970, in Borger. She loved shopping, traveling, vacations, sweet tea, Gunsmoke, Raw Hide and Bonanza.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, grandson, Jason Petty, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving is a daughter Ressa Batchelor and husband Jamie of Sanford; sons, Brian Price of Amarillo, Scott Price of Amarillo and Aaron Price of Amarillo; brother, Steve Mitchell and wife Rena of Borger; sister, Rhonda Christian of Borger; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
