Waldo Green

Waldo ‘Dobie” Green 74, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Church of Christ at Borger. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Waldo was born on April 27, 1947, in Vernon, TX to the late Hardy Green and Margaret Clement Green. He was a Christian man who loved God, family and his church, Church of Christ. He served in the military from 1966 to 1968 with honorable discharge. His favorite thing was spending time with grandkids who was his life. He always knew what to say and do for everyone. He enjoyed working on his home.

Preceding him in death is his parents Hardy and Margaret Green. Daughter Lena Montgomery and son Robert Aubry Green. Sisters Betty Graves and Glenda Clement Beech. Brothers Curtis Clement, Aubrey Clement, W. C. Clement and Max Lee Alexander. Nephew Darrell Clement.

Waldo leaves to cherish his brothers Willie Autrey Green Sr of Pampa; Oliver Clement Jr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Joe Clement of Clovis, NM and Matthew “ Pete” Clement of Borger. Two grandchildren Latoya Robinson and Ayrke Green of Houston. Five great grandchildren Tehron Jackson, Tamerrius, Asia Franklin, Makelia Robertson and Aspyn Green all of Houston, Large host of relatives and friends.
