Wallace Lanier Jr.

Wallace " Wally" Clyde Lanier Jr, 60 of Panhandle died Friday February 13th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday at First United Methodist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Buddy Payne pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Wally was born November 20,1954 in Metter, GA to Wallace Clyde Lanier Sr. and Millie Sue McLaughlin Lanier. He was an operator at ASARCO for forty years. He was a lifetime resident of Panhandle and a member of First united Methodist Church. He had a passion for fishing, cooking out, nascar, friends and family. He married Carla McIlroy March 25, 2014 in Panhandle.
Wally is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lisa Lofink.

Wally is survived by his wife Carla of Panhandle. Sons Chris Lanier and wife Tiffany of Amarillo, Stacy Lanier of Panhandle and Tyler Webb of Amarillo. Daughters Melisa Lanier of Amarillo and Tiffany " Tipper" Webb of Amarillo. Brothers David Lanier of Panhandle and Rob Lanier and wife Tracy of Pecos, TX. Sisters Cindy Gilbreth and husband Johnny of Amarillo and Sandra Kay Lanier of Alvarado, TX.
