Walter Glenn Morrison, 60, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Morrison Ranch near Fritch.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at 1st Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Pastor Tim Hall of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Butial will follow in The Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mr. Morrison was born on June 12, 1949 in Borger and was a lifetime area resident. He was an operator for Philips Petroleum Co. for 30 years and was a Baptist. He married Billie Sue Dickerman on July 12, 1968 in Borger. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, RVing with wonderful friends and the Texas Hold Em Gang. He was preceded in death by his parents J.M. Tex Alice Morrison, brother John and sisterinlaw Brenda Morrison.
He is survived by his wife Billie Morrison of the home, son Curtis Morrison wife Lisa of Fritch, two daughters Melani Morrison of Amarillo, Jesica Steinle and husband Jason of Fritch, two brothers Jimmy Morrison and wife Janet and Ronnie Morrison and wife Mary all of Fritch, special niece April Curnutt and husband Derrick of Fritch, aunt Melissa Blanton of Fritch, ten grandchildren Wade Colin, Jessy Morrison, Hannah BristowSingletary, Seth Bristow, Emma, Libbie Walter Steinle, Hayden Allysen Curnutt and one greatgrandson Hunter Singletary.
