Wanda Baker

Wanda Lucille Baker, 83, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be t 11:00 a.m. Monday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Victor Young, associate pastor of Tascosa Road Fellowship in Amarillo officiating. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Baker was born on March 31, 1927 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She had lived in Borger for 29 years and the past eleven months in Amarillo. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She loved to read, cook, sew and enjoyed painting.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her son Lewis Elisha Fulton of Borger, three daughters Carolyn Lavone Baker of Decatur, Arkansas, Ruby Faye Bass and Wanda Frances Turlington both of Amarillo, brother Douglas Whitley of Huntsville, AR, fourteen grandchildren, twentysix greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren.
