Wanda Simmons

Wanda Fern Coffey Simmons, 75 of Panhandle died Thursday June 19th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday June 23rd at First Baptist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Josh Light, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Wanda was born June 2, 1939 in Sayre, OK to Amos Choc and Vera Mitchell Coffey. Married Darrell Simmons September 17, 1955 in Wheeler, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church and collected cookbooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Brenda Lynette Ross and a brother Coy Coffey.

Wanda is survived by her husband. Three grandchildren.
