Warren Mccollum

Warren B McCollum, 82, of Borger passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be 10am. Saturday, October 18, at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Andy Dietz, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery.

Warren was born February 19, 1926 to Tazwell and Maxine McCollum in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. On January 27, 1951 he married Lorene Lane in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was also in the United States Army during WW II stationed in Germany. Warren was a former member of the Phillips Lions Club, and a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church. He was also very involved in Living Water Ministries. Warrens passion in life was his family and grandchildren. After 34 years he retired from Phillips Petroleum as a stock and blender.

Survivors include his wife Lorene of the home; son - Chris McCollum and wife Alice of Borger; two daughters - Pamela Thames and husband David of Oklahoma City, Sondra Raines and husband Terry of Fritch; 5 grandchildren - Nick Mears and wife Shannon, Heath and Cassie Mears, Roby and Anna McCollum; 11 step grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 15 step great grandchildren.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents.
