Wesley Starr McAnally

Wesley “Mac” Starr McAnally, 88, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Cremation has been entrusted to Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  Private family graveside services will be held.

Mac was born April 19, 1935, in Colorado City, Texas to Richard Ryne McAnally and Beulah Mae Fisk McAnally.  He proudly served in the United States Army.  Mac married Sarah Nell Hopkins on December 31, 1957, in Post, Texas.  He retired from Phillips Petroleum after 40 years of service.  Mac enjoyed hunting and going to the casino to play craps.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge.  Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beulah McAnally; and his wife, Sarah Nell McAnally.

Survivors include his son, Steven Wayne McAnally and wife Jennifer of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughter, Tanya Renea Monroe of Borger; and grandchildren, Tyler Reed and Starr Monroe.
