FritchBRBRWilliam Wayne Butler, 90, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at his home in Fritch.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Borger with Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Butler was born on October 7, 1918 in Allen, TX and had been a Fritch resident for 30 years. He was an administrative supervisor for 24 years at Phillips Petroleum Co. He served in the US Army Air Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was a former Fritch City Council member and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Borger. He was preceded in death by his parents - Jess Sophronia Butler, granddaughter - Carmen Michelle Casados, two brothers - Arvil J. Butler and Robert Glenn Butler and one sister - Virginia Smith.BRBRHe is survived with his wife, Irma Butler of the home, two sons - Bill Butler William Wayne, Jr. and wife Sandy of Denton, TX, Greg Butler Robert Greg Butler and wife Debbie of Amarillo, and daughter - Bretta Suzanne Butler of Ft. Worth, six Grandchildren Eric and Abby Butler, Brent Casados, Heather Casados, Brad Butler, Lindsey and James Murphy and Whitney Butler; and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Blake and Ava Butler, and Brayden Murphy.
Casket bearers will be Charles Cooke, Tommy Counts, Ken Johnson, LeRoy Sargent, Jack Worsham and Jack Pirtle.
There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home in Borger.
