Skellytown

William J. Bill Campbell, Jr., 90, of Skellytown died Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Amarillo. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, at the First Baptist Church, Skellytown with Alan Wilson Pastor of First Baptist Church of White Deer officiating. Interment will be at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Bill was born on May 10, 1922 in Rule, Texas to Esten Florence Cook and William J. Campbell, Sr. Bill served his country as a Corporal in the Army Air Force in World War II. He married Ernestine Doyle on April 16, 1943 in San Angelo. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown and the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355. He was the owner of Campbell Carpet Cleaning and Laying.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife on November 2, 1994 and his son William E. Campbell in 1953.

Survivors are his two daughters, Tammie Krapp of Altamonte Springs, Florida and Teresa Britten of White Deer Four Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
