William Phillips

William Boyd Phillips, 80, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Fritch Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Boyd was born January 22, 1942 in Borger to Otto Phillips and Lola Neely Phillips.  He married Nina Durlene Withers on August 19, 1960 in Borger.  Boyd was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ.  He loved fishing and going to the mountains.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sisters; and a great granddaughter, Lily Gorena.

Survivors include his daughters, Keisha Thomas and husband Haywood of Fritch, Kyla Mason and husband Shawn of Little Elm, Kristi Teichelman of Forney; son, Kevin Phillips of Little Elm; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Larry Phillips of Fritch; and a host of extended family.
