Borger BRBRW. L. Bill Ramsay, 76, died Tuesday, October 30th 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Disciples of Christ Christian Church with Rev. James Stephens, Pastor officiating. Graveside masonic Rites will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355 in Eastlawn Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Ramsay was born on February 24, 1931 in Amarillo and had been a Borger resident since 1941. He was in payroll personnel at Phillips Petroleum Co. retiring in 1986 after 37 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a Charter Member of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355 and was an active member for over 50 years. He was Past Master of Adobe Walls.He was a 33rd Degree Mason of the El Paso Scottish Rite and a member of the York Rite Bodies of Borger. He was a member of Khiva Shrine Temple in Amarillo and was past director of the Temple. He was past president of the Borger Shrine Club and Tri-City Scottish Rite Association of Borger. He was a life member of the American Legion of Borger.BRBRHe was preceded in death by his parents, Everett LaVera Miller, his father, Oma Lee Ramsay, four step-brothers, on step-sister and two grandsons - Randy Van Arsdale and Scott Cline.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Jean Ramsay of the home, two sons - Ray D. Ramsay and wife Vicki and Terry Flippo and wife, Rene all of Borger, two daughters - Becky Addis and husband Gary and Pat Cline and husband Tom all of Borger, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren

Casket bearers will be Stephen F. Cross, Kenneth R. Moss, D. C. Taylor, Brice D. Manasco, Larry S. Parker and Jim F. Brown. Honorary bearers will be Masons where ever they may be assembled.
