Willie Bunn

Willie Lewis Bunn, 65, of Borger died Sunday, January 4, 2014 in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday January 10, 2014 at New Jerusaleum Church of God in Christ, Rev. Harry Williams, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Willie was born September 4, 1949 in Borger to Pete and Lonnie Williams Bunn. He was an operator for Phillips. Willie was a lifetime resident of Borger and a member of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ. He married Gloria Childress August 16, 1968 in Borger. Willie loved his family, dogs, and anything that had to do with God. He filled in for bible study and he worked by the side of his Pastor. Willie also dedicated his time to the Prison Ministry. His hobbies were fishing, yard work, and eating chocolate.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Milton.

He is survived by his wife; son, Barrett and wife Susan of Denver, CO; daughter, Ronae Bunn of Borger; her daughter, Chelsea Hooper; brother, Melvin Bunn and wife Beverly of Chicago, ILL; their children, Ashley Bunn and Morgan Bunn; sister, Martha Loftis and husband Robert of Borger; their children Robert Jr. Kevin Loftis and Shelly Loftis.
