Willie Fae Graves, 94, died November 7, 2018 in Borger. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Jack Knight of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Fae was born May 26, 1924 in Haskell, TX to Nathan Fae Foster and Cynthia Ann Lees Foster. She received her Master's Degree and became teacher. She moved to Borger in 1950 where she taught for many years in the Borger Independent School District. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and loved to Quilt, Sew, Read, Cook, Camp and to Organize.
Fae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester Charles Graves, two brothers Tom and James Foster, two grandsons Patrick Westbrook and Charles Robert Hammer and her great granddaughter Macklin Graves.
She is survived by her three sons Van Graves and his wife Judy of Fritch, Mark Graves and his wife Susie of Stinnett and Glenn Graves and his wife Cindy of Big Spring and her daughter Ann Weissenborn and her husband Henry of Madison, Mississippi, Nine Grandchildren and Twenty-five Great Grandchildren.
The Family will meet at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday to receive friends at the visitation.
