Wilma Bevins

Wilma Rae Bevins, 85, passed away, Tuesday, December 14, 2016.

Funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with
Pastor Ted Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive guests from 6-8 pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at the funeral home.

Wilma was born November 21, 1931 to Elmer Ray Hixon and Lena Catherine Adams in Cushing, Oklahoma. She married Frankie Bevins on July 31, 1948 in Drumright, Oklahoma. Wilma was a member of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frankie; brothers, Dennis, Harold and Dale; and sisters, Dorothy, Judy, Joy, Carol and Faye.

Survivors include her sons, David Bevins and his wife, Lidonna of Granbury, Terry Bevins, Sr. and his wife, Kristine of Stinnett, Timothy Bevins and his wife, Becky of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter, Debbie Brewer and her husband, Gary of Borger; nine grandchildren, Terry Bevins, Jr. and his wife, Denise, Troy Bevins and his wife, Jamie, Tonya Alexander and her husband, Marcus, Brian Bevins, Michael Bevins and his wife, Cesia, Londa Forrest, Melissa Miller and her husband, Aaron, Hope Ingle and her husband, Stephen, Erica Brewer; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and two more due to arrive any day; brothers, Ken Hixon and wife Margee of Cushing, Oklahoma, Jerry Hixon and wife Nancy of Broken Arrow; special cousin, Chris Adams of South Dakota; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Bob McPherson and Dora Woods.
