Yvonne Cecille Koetting, was born in Memphis Texas.She passed on to eternity with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 14, 2024 at the age of 88 years old. Yvonne was one of six children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Leota Mathis, Billie June Wyatt, Linda ‘Tooter’ McCreary, and son in law Kyrle Ferrell.
Yvonne graduated from Memphis High School and worked at Davis Chevrolet in Borger prior to marrying Ed Koetting in 1962.They lived in Pampa and Borger. Yvonne worked at the Tax Office in both Gray and Hutchinson Counties.
Yvonne and Ed were active members at Keeler Baptist Church for many years. After retirement, Yvonne and Ed had the blessing of RV travel to most of the 50 states with precious friends who they loved like family.
Along with being the most loving mother and wife, Yvonne was a very gifted cook. Along with cooking, she loved flower gardening, golf, camping, and especially being with family. In most recent years Yvonne became a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved supporting Patrick Mahomes.
She is survived by family members she loved dearly: Husband Ed Koetting, three Daughters, Cyndi Ferrell Newell of Borger, Sherri Ammons and Husband Kerry of Pampa TX, Lea Ann Lewis and Husband Joe of Midland TX, Six Grandchildren, Jay Ferrell and wife Marianne of San Antonio, Emily Ferrell Wellesley and husband Shane of Pampa TX. Andrew Ammons and wife Dru of Lubbock TX, Zac Ammons and wife Abbey of Lubbock TX, Lynley Lewis Brooks and husband Jess of Coahoma TX, Ethan Lewis and wife Brittany of Kyle TX, along with six great grandchildren. Yvonne is also survived by her brother Jim Sturdevant and wife Linda of Argyle,TX along with her sister Susan Maxwell and husband Michael of Canyon, TX.
Graveside Services will be at 2pm on Tuesday December 17 at Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger with a celebration of her life to be at a later date.
