Zaluar Grace Ivey, 90, of Borger died Friday, June 13, 2008 in Borger, Texas
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Dr. Chad Chaddick, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRGrace was born on April 3, 1918 in Denison, Texas to Charlie and Lillie Reeves. She married William Edward Ivey and raised three daughters. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and great-great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Ivey, daughter, Frances Lee Collins, great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Patterson and great-great granddaughter, Tasha Floyd.BRBRGrace is survived by two daughters, Cynthia LaGrone and husband, Chuck and Mary Ward, all of Borger, six grandchildren, Bobby Joe Lee, Jr. and wife, Gayla, Charlie Lee, Kathy Loucks and husband, Randy, all of Borger, Larry LaGrone of Grand Rapids, MI, Karen Stoffle and husband Ben of Amarillo, and Stephanie Guess and husband Travis of Borger; fifteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Casket bearers will be Roy Rangel, Robert Lee, Tommy Lee, Moses Lee, Ben Stoffle and Randy Loucks.BRBRGrace's greatest joy in life was meeting and talking with people. Her favorite places to visit with friends and family were at her church, Fairlanes Baptist and at McDonald's, where she had been a regular for seventeen years.BRBRIn her 90 years of life on this earth, Grace had never met a stranger.
